Large
Group Events
Goal
To quickly accomplish or
apply changes in the company when a large number of employees is affected.
Examples of Use
Strategic reorientation of
the company, company mergers, reorganization, implementation of new guidelines,
methods, systems; employee information and motivation in difficult company
situations.
Methods
Depending on the goal,
this kind of event can last from a few hours up to several days and be carried
out with from 30 to several hundred participants; different procedures and
methods will be applied, which prevent the participants from being passive
listener. Instead they play an active part and, in doing so, help to actively
create the change.
Uses
·
Criticism and
problems do not smolder in the background. Instead they are openly addressed and
can then be worked through.
·
Creative
suggestions, proposals and ideas from the employees are developed and can be
usefully applied.
·
The integration
of the employees often shifts their position to the change into a positive
light.
·
The
participants experience being part of a large organization and that many
colleagues assist in the change process – that raises confidence that the
change can be accomplished and the motivation to contribute themselves.
