Coaching
Goal
To
support individual employees and managers in reflecting on their behavioral
patterns and problem solving strategies in day to day work, evaluating their
usefulness, and developing alternative approaches
Examples of Use
Taking
over a new (leadership) task, decision making situations, crises, special
problems with employees, colleagues, managers, concrete questions to approaches,
e.g. negotiations, conflicts, employer-employee meetings
Procedure
Prerequisite
is the voluntary participation, openness for self-reflection and change, as well
as mutual affinity between the coach and coachee. Most sessions last ca. 2 hours;
the number of sessions varies; usually a coaching process is completed in 3 to
10 sessions.
